An Irish pub
that serves Indian food? This should be interesting! Kennedy’s Irish Pub &
Curry House, stop #46, might sound like an oxymoron, but some how it works and
works well. I’m not a big fan of Indian food in general, but this place has it
going on. Over sixty beers on tap, an extensive food menu, pool tables, tvs,
and tons of space. Six of us dined together and ordered a variety of dishes to
share. We had a couple of restaurant.com coupons, which decreased the cost of
the bill, but the prices are already reasonable. For the amount of food we
consumed $15 per person was a steal.
This is what we
ordered:
- · Vegetable Pakora
- · Vegetable Samosa
- · Chicken Tikka Masala
- · Chicken Curry
- · Chicken Korma
- · Lamb Sagwala
- · Tandoori Chicken
- · Naan- garlic & regular
- · Sheekh Kabab Masala Dosa
- · Steamed rice
Everything was
fantastic. Good heat, texture, and flavors. Shawn who is a big foodie was
really impressed and said it was the best chicken korma he has ever had.
Everyone was beyond satisfied & full by the end of the meal & we had
enough leftover for four to-go containers. My faves were the veggie
pakora: mixed veggies deep fried in chickpea batter, the garlic naan & the
chicken tikka masala. Great place to go watch a game, have a couple of beers,
and eat some delish Indian food or even order for delivery.
