901 Columbus Caffe
901 Columbus Caffé
was stop #44. It’s a great place to grab a sammy or a salad and do some work
since they have free wifi. However, the day I went it was about 100 degrees
inside, not sure why since it wasn’t a really hot day in SF, so Josh & I
sat at a table outside for our meeting. He had a sugar-free vanilla latte and
the Gambino sammy- roma tomato, fresh basil,
pastrami, red onion, and provolone. Josh’s review: “Two slices of authentic
Italy grilled to perfection. The Gambino would make a mobster’s moll cry.” His
usual response is, “It’s good.” So he must have really enjoyed his sammy. I had
the Fillmore Blues salad- mixed greens, crumbled feta cheese, roasted pecans
& dried cranberry with raspberry vinaigrette. It was good and would have
been even better had it not been drenched in dressing. When will I learn to ask
for dressing on the side? I would eat here againor at the very least have a cup of tea while doing some work.
